serial killers 1
by Tara Ciampa / EDITOR

I did extensive research to determine if there was a pattern that occurred amongst serial killers as to what Zodiac signs were most likely to commit such heinous acts. I managed to find some famous serial killers that have all been born a water sign. The three water signs of the zodiac are: Scorpio – Pisces – Cancer. These are the most {emotionally charged} signs of the Zodiac.

Were their emotions somehow thrown so far out of balance that they killed over and over, seeking out new victims to satisfy their need to lash out and commit murder after murder. What answers can be found within the Zodiac? We are “not” saying all people born under these Zodiac signs that we are writing about in this article have a predilection to committing serious crimes. That is not what these articles are about. These people are very... very special cases. They are nationally known for the brutality, as well as dare I say {spectacular nature} of their crimes. These are the [special cases] that Professional Criminal Investigators and profilers research endlessly to find a commonality between their crimes to prevent this from ever happening anywhere else ever again.

What we are looking at here with our knowledge and research of the Astrological Zodiac chart {that has existed for more than 10, 000 years} is a {correlation between} certain Zodiac signs and abhorrent behavior exhibited by these individuals who were convicted of nationally known crimes. IS THERE A CONNECTION BETWEEN what they ARE ASTROLOGICALLY and who they ARE PERSONALLY?

..Aileen Carol Wuornos was born February 29, 1956 in Rochester, Michigan under the Astrological Zodiac sign of PISCES. Wuornos was labeled “The Damsel of Death” by Dan Rather (January 15, 1992). She was tried and convicted by the state of Florida and SENTENCED TO DEATH by lethal injection at 9:47 a.m. on October 9, 2002 for committing {six murders}. Wuronos had fired her attorneys and dropped her appeals despite lingering questions over {her sanity}. She was executed for the 1989 murder of Richard Mallory, a Clearwater businessman, whose body was found in Ormond Beach, Florida. She never went to trial for the other killings but was condemned to death for five of them after pleading guilty or no contest. For years, Wuornos claimed she shot the men out of self-defense while being raped and sodomized. Later, she recanted her claims, saying she wanted to make peace with God. "I'm one who seriously hates human life and would kill again."

..Wuornos was the first to fit the FBI's definition of a serial killer, which includes killing more than three people, targeting victims whom she did not know and who did not know each other, and allowing some time to elapse between each killing, said David Damore, who prosecuted Wuornos in the Mallory case. Wuornos would choose her targets at random, allowing anywhere from a few days or months to pass before killing again. She knew none of her victims. They all were middle-aged or older men who stopped to pick up Wuornos as she hitchhiked on Florida highways. All were killed with multiple gunshots.

.Serial Killer Aileen Wuornos {defending her actions}:I’m innocent. I was raped! I hope you get raped! Scum bags of America!

Serial Killer Aileen Wuornos Final Words:

..Tara Ciampa / EDITOR: I have personally experienced first-hand how a PISCES relates to others and the world around her. When we delve into the world of Aileen Wuornos, she seems to exemplify the more {negative traits} of which was ultimately her demise in my {research and opinion}.

..PISCES (Feb 19 - March 20)
..Other emotionally charged Water Signs: Cancer, Scorpio
..Water Signs” are imaginative and tuned into the emotions of those around them. Its an element of deep emotion. They can be immersed in either compassion or self pity. They need a certain amount of alone time to explore these emotions. This is the sign of dreamers, mystics, poets, writers, psychics, actors, musicians and dreamers. Like the rest of the watery signs, Pisces is considered a "negative", feminine sign, which in Astrology means it is rather introvert. Being the twelfth sign, Pisces is associated with the astrological 12th house.

..The spiritual world they are so connected to tends to cloud their vision and causes them to try to escape situations rather than confronting them. They experience temperaments in the extremes and can take on the traits of every Zodiac sign at times making them chameleon like in personality. A good thing for them is stable positive friendships to help make them strong. They are not suited for those high up in business or other leadership positions of power due to their lack of self discipline and confidence.

..They truly have an inner struggle because their imagination is so strong and it makes their stability wane at times. Their good moods can be be an enormous high for them but their bad moods can be overwhelming for them and make them prone to depression. If this imaginative and creativity flowing from them it not used in a productive way it can do them more harm than good. Pisces are strongly connected to two worlds, the real world and the spiritual or mystical world where they interpret what they see into their own interpretation. They are very drawn to the occult (hidden) and mystic practices.

..Their intuitive nature is not to be taken lightly. They can see other's motivations and look beyond the tangible world and tune into the unseen to a great degree. They enjoy helping others because the good feeling the other person gets resonates back into them. Pisces are usually searching for themselves and may take the path of drug usage trying to get more in touch with their spiritual side that drives them. This spiritual side makes them very sensitive both to their emotions and that of others. Pisces are not prone to to bad luck but could introduce it into their lives by by overindulging, just being lazy or choosing partners and friends that would facilitate it.

..Pisces people are drawn to individuals who stir their emotions because this helps them to have a sense of their {own} emotional stability. Pisces has been called the sign of “self undoing.” For these types of people things can seem very bleak and they easily fall prey to depression. They should not forget they are naturally blessed with talents of a PISCES mentioned above.

..LIKES: Freedom, feeling loved, appreciated and valued. They like being noticed for their unique nature which separates them from the crowd.

..DISLIKES: Criticism, Lack of structure, being vulnerable, being void of goals, animated derogatory behavior.

..If you doubt these PISCES talents and traits I am listing here… let me cite a few examples that I have personally witnessed for myself. I raised a Pisces daughter, and in my opinion my daughter is the absolute -definitive- Pisces blueprint. She learned to play violin and she is taking painting and decorating classes in school, and she likes to write short stories and poetry. Kurt Cobain, the famous singer / songwriter for the band Nirvana who - took his own life - was born under the sign of PISCES. Another artistic talent is Kat Von D - she has been on television {with her OWN show} and runs her very own tattoo shop in Los Angeles. As far as having a strong talent in acting: Glenn Close, Holly Hunter and Elizabeth Taylor - all are the sign of PISCES.

..PISCES TRAIT: KILLING IN A {non-sequential} FASHION
..FBI profiler Robert K. Ressler mentions Wuornos briefly in his autobiographical history of his twenty years with the FBI. Writing in 1992, he said he often does not discuss female serial killers because they tend to kill in sprees instead of in a sequential fashion. He noted Wuornos as the sole exception. Her life of crime is detailed below. Her PISCES emotions got the best of her and drug her down into the deepest darkest places. On May 27, 1974, Wuornos was arrested in Jefferson County, Colorado for drunk driving, disorderly conduct, and firing a .22-caliber pistol from a moving vehicle. She was later charged with failure to appear.

..Aileen’s parents were Diane Pratt and Leo Pittman. Only a few months before Wuornos was born Diane Pratt divorced her husband, Leo. The facts were that Leo was a child molester and spent most of his life in and out of both prison and mental hospitals. Wuornos never knew her father. Her father was jailed for the raping a 7-year-old girl shortly before Wuornos was born, and was strangled in prison in 1969. (according to Wikipedia he was strangled; yet another online source said it was a suicide by hanging).
..At age 4 Aileen and her brother, Keith were given up for adoption by their biological mother, Diane. Their maternal grandparents became their legal guardians on March 18, 1960. At the tender age of 6 Aileen and Keith were setting fires with lighter fluid and Aileen was left with self inflicted scarring facial burns. Aileen found herself pregnant at age 14. Aileen told police that she had been having sexual relations with her brother. Keith died in 1976 after a battle with throat cancer. Aileen was 20 years old when she lost her brother. Aileen found herself the recipient of Keith’s life insurance police for $10,000. On March 23, 1971 Aileen delivered an infant son at a Detroit maternity home and it was there she left him for adoption. Aileen dropped out of school and started a life earning wages as a prostitute. Aileen was a drifter and left a trail of destruction most everywhere she went.

....PISCES TRAIT:THE WRONG PARTNER MAKES THE PISCES EVEN -MORE- UNSTABLE
..In 1976, Wuornos hitchhiked to Florida, where she met and married a 70-year-old yacht club president Lewis Gratz Fell the same year. Wuornos got into confrontations at their local bar and was eventually sent to jail for assault. Interesting enough she also hit Fell with his own cane, causing him to get a restraining order against her, after which she returned to Michigan. Wuornos and Fell divorced on July 21 after “nine weeks” of a less than satisfying marriage
..On July 14, 1976, Wuornos was arrested in Antrim County, Michigan and was charged with assault and disturbing the peace due to an incident where she threw a cue ball at a bartender's head.
..On May 20, 1981, Wuornos was arrested in Edgewater, Florida for armed robbery of a convenience store. She was sentenced to prison on May 4, 1982 and released on June 30, 1983.
..On May 1, 1984, Wuornos was arrested for attempting to pass forged checks at a bank in Key West.
..On November 30, 1985, she was named as a suspect in the theft of a revolver and ammunition in Pasco County.
..On January 4, 1986, Wuornos was arrested in Miami and charged with grand theft auto, resisting arrest and obstruction by false information (she provided identification with the name Lori Grody, her aunt). Miami police found a .38-caliber revolver and a box of ammunition in the stolen car.
..On June 2, 1986, Volusa County deputies detained Wuornos for questioning after a male companion accused her of pulling a gun in his car and demanding $200. Wuornos was found to be carrying spare ammunition and a .22 pistol was discovered beneath the passenger seat she occupied. Around this time, Wuornos met Tyria Moore, a hotel maid, at a Daytona gay bar. They moved in together, and Wuornos supported them with her prostitution earnings.
..On July 4, 1987, Daytona Beach police detained Wuornos and Moore at a bar for questioning regarding an incident in which they were accused of assault and battery with a beer bottle.
..On March 12, 1988, Wuornos accused a Daytona Beach bus driver of assault. She claimed that he pushed her off the bus following a confrontation. Moore was listed as a witness to the incident.

..ENTER AILEEN’S NEW FRIEND AND ADVOCATE: ARLENE PRALLE

..This friendship is what Aileen had been lacking as a human and a sensitive Pisces. It came too late…she was now confined to prison and the friendship could not bloom as it could have. Arlene Pralle, a forty-four-year-old "born-again" Christian who ran a horse breeding and boarding facility near Ocala. After seeing Wuornos's picture in a newspaper Pralle wrote Wuornos a letter, she writes: " My name is Arlene Pralle," she states, "I'm born-again. You're going to think I'm crazy, but Jesus told me to write you." She gave her home telephone number, and on January 30 Wuornos called her (collect) and the relationship blossomed from there.

..The two bonded immediately and Pralle became her defender and advocate. Pralle conveyed to Wuornos that she believed public defenders were trying to profit from her story, along with everyone else. Wuornos responded by getting new attorneys. Pralle contacted reporters, describing her relationship with Wuornos to a Vanity Fair reporter as, "a soul binding. We're like Jonathan and David in the bible. It's as though part of me is trapped in jail with her. We always know what the other is feeling and thinking." To another reporter she said, "If the world could know the real Aileen Wuornos, there's not a jury that would convict her." Throughout 1991, Pralle appeared on talk shows and in tabloids, talking to anyone who would listen proclaiming Wuornos's really was a better person than how she was portrayed.

..On November 22, 1991, Arlene Pralle and her husband legally adopted Aileen Wuornos. Pralle said God had told her to. On a personal note… Wuornos got what she truly needed but it came to her too late. Had this happened to her earlier in life I feel this could have had enough of a positive impact on Aileen and to save her her from a life of crime and heartache... perhaps.

The film Monster, released in January 2004 was based on certain parts of Aileen Wuornos’ life. The acting performance by Charlize Theron was exceptional. She was transformed by what must have been a highly skilled makeup crew into the essence of Aileen Wuornos. This movie won an Oscar and it was certainly deserving of it. As much as I recommend the movie mostly based on such a masterful acting performance I have to point out where it falls short.

First thing to note is that Aileen’s real name is not used in the movie. We learn from the movie that Aileen was a prostitute and the portrayed her being raped and brutalized forcing her to commit the crimes she was convicted of. It also portrayed an intense lesbian relationship with Tyria Moore and the movie was focused mainly on that aspect of her life as opposed to the real life events that dealt with severe trauma that could affect almost anyone dramatically, and this was a perspective that was not portrayed in the film.

The lack of detail of Aileen’s actual true story was severe. Her life started out as being abandoned by her mother and father and ended with her being adopted by Arlene Pralle who befriended her once she was behind bars. Aileen found herself pregnant at age 14 with no mother or support system in place. She ended up putting her infant son up for adoption. She suffered a tremendous emotional blow when her brother Keith died in 1976 after a battle with throat cancer. Keith and her were very close growing up. The same year her brother died Aileen got married to a man who was a lot older and a lot more financially stable than she was at the time. It was a match made in hell I suppose. Aileen ended up assaulting her husband with his own walking cane in this very brief nine week period of marriage.

..All of Aileen’s altercations with the law which consisted of numerous charges of assault, robbery and forging checks was not even touched upon in the movie but should have been. This was a huge oversight. Aileen seemed to be on a mission to break the law.

The trial was left out of the film along with her new found friend Arlene Pralle who was a guardian angel of sorts who took the relationship way beyond a mere friendship and went as far as to adopt Aileen. She actually spent ten years on death row. All the media sensationalized events and numerous appeals leading up her death, including an in depth two hour documentary regarding Aileen’s life and criminal history were never touched on in the movie.
