..HOW AND WHY B.R.U.T.A.L. CAME ABOUT

..EDITORS NOTE: Many experts agree spirits may remain earthbound due to the following circumstances:

Unreconciled dealings with someone or a family issue or relationship that needs mended. The person was murdered or perished in an accident of some type. To check up on family members to see that their final wishes are carried out. A person fearing they are going to be condemned to hell. Lost, scared or confused child.

What do I gather from all this? The more responsible you are in this life the easier your transition into the spirit realm will be. The bodies death is not the end of life.

..Ever since I was a little girl, I have had experiences with the paranormal. As far back as I can remember I have either heard things, felt things, or seen things. What pushed me the most to want to do this is when my Uncle was sick the hospital said to him there was nothing else they could do for him, so they sent him home to die. After a few weeks my

uncle grew weaker and weaker. On the night he passed my mother and aunt were there with him and they had a pen a paper with them just to write down the things he was saying. He was saying things like the lights are flashing by, he was taking about when he was a small child and about his kids, and then he said he was scared, and he was calling out peoples names that have passed in the family.

..To me this was proof that there is an after life, and that we do go somewhere when we pass. After my uncle passed away, he came to me almost every night for about 2 weeks and pulled my toes, and he also came through to my friend, and our evp tech Bob all of the time until Bob relayed his message back to us on what he wanted us to know. I had dreams of people asking for my help. I have heard my name called by someone that was not there. I have seen what I believe to be was my guardian angel. I have had many personal experiences. All of the women on my mother’s side of the family have had paranormal experiences. The only male that has had an experiences is my brother. When he was younger he had seen an apparition of a male ghost in our old house.

..Other than that, that has been all. "I have always been curious as to why spirits come back to visit, or stay in a location. I have also wondered why there are so many people out there that do not believe in this."

..We have just reached our 6 month anniversary as a group, but my husband and I have been investigating for about 3 years now on our own, before we got our group together. What has influenced us as a group to become paranormal investigators is to seek the truth! We look for the truth and we know it is out there. Another influence is to help those in need. There are so many people out there with paranormal activity in thier homes that feel they have no where to turn, and we want them to know they are not alone. We are here for them night and day, were only a phone call away, and we do travel also we do not just investigate in our town or state, we go anywhere. Then of course the biggest influence is the personal experiences we have all had, it drives you to look for what is going on. It changes you as a person, and it pushes you to seek the truth!

..One night my husband and I were laying in bed, and I said to him that I wanted to start up my own paranormal group. He told me that he would back me 100%. I said now if we do this we have to come up with a good name that no one has. We layed there thinking and going over possible names when he said to me that he has the perfect one.

..He said B.R.U.T.A.L. which stands for Believing Revealing Understanding The After Life. I looked at him, and I thought that is the perfect name. From there I got on the internet and researched and studied and asked around as to how we get started. I met a lot of great people that were so willing to help me start a group. I read a lot of great websites that also tell you how to start a group. I took a class online to help inform me of how to start and run a group. From this point, we talked to people who we thought would be great members and who were into the paranormal like we were and formed our group B.R.U.T.A.L. Paranormal.

..Our team consists of Myself and Anthony my husband we are the founders. Then we have our co-founder Herb, My brother Jason who is our lead investigator, his wife Heather who is our researcher, two of their friends Jen who is our Interviewer and her husband Jason who is our equipment tech, and then when my brother mentioned it to a few people where he works we added on Gail who is our photographer, her friends Jessie our investigator and her sister Rose our other investigator. Bob has always been into the paranormal and is a sensitive so he was all for it when I asked him to join. He is our EVP tech.

..I feel that our group is very well put together. We come from all types of religious backgrounds and beliefs. We all have the same interests but we all go about investigating in a different manner. We have our skeptics that go to debunk what they can. We have our researchers that look for locations and read up on the history of these locations, We have our techs that we go to when we need help reviewing. We have our Lead investigators that go to a location and get base readings before we start an investigation and look for causes of what people may think is paranormal activity. Then we have our investigators that go investigate with all of us. We go into a location and investigate. We try to debunk as much as we possibly can. We have come across some things that were figured out to be not paranormal, and we have come across many things that we believe to be paranormal.

..My husband and Herb our co-founder are 2 of the biggest skeptics out there. They will go in and look all around for what it can be. Then we will go over the evidence and go back to the location to see if we can debunk it. We are paranormal investigators and we do just that, investigate. We have been to many places in Minooka, Lockport, Channahon, and Joliet IL. We have also traveled to other states in search of paranormal activity. We investigate historical locations as well as private homes. We have been to cemeteries as well.

..When I started this group a lot of people told me to be careful and to watch out for the people that will make you feel like your crazy. There is a lot of people out there that do not believe in paranormal activity. They will tell you until they are blue in the face that your crazy, or your getting into something you do not want to get into. But that has never stopped me. I have called possible clients and locations and have been cursed at and told I was insane. To me those people fear the unknown and do not understand that it is out there. Some do not want to believe it at all. Then you have people out there that do believe in this, but feel they have no where to turn, because of the way some people in society feel. These people feel if they do say something, then they will be shunned from their community or even family.

..Actually when I first started telling my family that this is my passion and what I love to do, some of them were all for it, but some were very cautious about me doing this. As we started to really get things going I have gained support from my whole family and a lot of friends as well. We first started out investigating local cemeteries to get a feel for what it will take to be an investigator, then we went to local parks and land that we knew had activity. From there we investigated homes and historical buildings. We investigated a famous haunted restaurant in Clarendon Hills IL. We then went on to a famously haunted mansion in Joliet and the famous Villisca Axe Murder home in Iowa. We have had many great opportunities and met so many great people along the way, that were more than willing to help us out with what ever we may have needed.

..There are so many different paranormal groups out there today, some good and some bad. I wanted us to become a great group and by doing this we had to all work together, and research and do a lot of work to get to where we are today. We have come a long way fast as that is by what a great group we have and by the help of so many people in this field. My group does have rules and regulations we all have to follow to make this work. My main rule is RESPECT. We respect any client and location we go to. We respect the spirits as well. We never disrespect anything at anytime. That is my major rule and it should be that way for all groups, some fail to do so, and that gives other groups out there that our like mine a bad rep. I wish all groups were respectful of locations and clients but some do not and that upsets me very much.

..Our main goal is to help people that are in need. To help someone when they feel they have no where else to turn. Everything we do is free of charge, and I feel that this is the only right way to go about this because there are no professionals in this field. We learn every day and every time we go investigate. Were always learning and that what makes this so much fun. You never know what you will come across and what you will find. This is a passion of mine and will be until I can no longer do this anymore.

..B.R.U.T.A.L has been on Shadow Talk Radio twice with {Paranormal Python}. We have investigated one of the most haunted locations in America, and we have many more to come. We have been asked to come back to investigate again at Villisca, and we have a lot more investigation lined up in other states as well. We also have had an article wrote about us on Paranormal Pythons website about our trip to Villisca. We have had some great times investigating with other people and groups in the area, in return have made some great friends. We have all had personal experiences that have made being an investigator that much better. When you have a personal paranormal experience, it will change you for life. It will make you re think about a lot of things and it will make your drive to investigate that much stronger.

..It takes a lot of work to become an investigator and my group has all dedicated their time to this group to make it work. We do have a blast, but it can be tough at times. Hours of reviewing evidence, and looking through pictures, and listening to our digital voice recorders, sometimes we get nothing and other times we get something awesome. Sometimes it all is a bit overwhelming, but it is so worth every second! We have all taken on online class to better our knowledge and like I said we are learning all of the time. Doing this never gets old. There is always somewhere to go or someone to help. The rush of investigating is what is truly the best part. You just feel like your on cloud nine. It is an awesome experience.

..We have had some great experiences, some great times, and some trying times as well. We have collected some great evidence and some great memories. We have made many friends and are very thankful for the opportunities we have had! We will always be there for those in need, and we will always be dedicated to what we do. I love my group and appreciate everything they have done to make B.R.U.T.A.L. one of the most awesome teams out there today. Trust me... there is alot of great groups out there and we are just one of so many!!
