P.O.M.P.S - Pennsylvania

..This is about the events that happened at the D.A.R. Mansion {a/k/a} Warden Mansion. THE D.A.R MANSION IS THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. My team and I went out to the mansion by invitation and sat down and listened to the claims of activity that seem to be going on there from full body apparitions foot steps and even voices that happen all over the mansion.

..After the interview I started to run the setup we used everything from hand held Sony camcorders and full night vision DVR cameras {digital video recorder} and Sony cameras we also set up Olympus DS 40 voi ce recorders in hopes of recording EVP’S {electric voice phenomena}. It took about 40 minutes to get the setup done but in a case you have to cover every angle.

..So anyway, after all of this we went to the third floor it was the servants quarters along time ago if was on this floor we captured the voice of a man in the hall saying "GO BACK." {listen to the actual e.v.p. ON THE P.O.M.P.S. SITE} we did not hear this at the time we also where asking in the red room up there for a sign be cause the lady's say there is a man there that whistles and by my surprise we did capture this on tape {posted on our site} there where also claims of full body apparitions in this area and we do have photos of what appears to be a man standing in that hall with us the next interesting photo came from the bathroom on the third floor we captured a image there that looks like someone in the glass.

..I took the photo and its not me so its just that a interesting photo but anyway as the night. April and I were on the second floor filming with hand held Sony handy cams. We sat there asking questions for about thirty minutes. April say's what appears to be a black shadow get up from the corner and leave we did get this on both cams {it's on YOU TUBE link to the -Left- under -pomps68-}. Well... I don't want to make this to long but after everything we filmed at this location we have to say there seems to be something going on there.

..We were called out to a home that a young girl was having problems. She was saying there was a black shadow coming from the closet in her room and it seemed to be giving her and her family problems like being depressed in school and just things going bad all the way around for this young lady. This all stated for the girl at a very young age but it was just brushed off as her imagination. As the years went by the girl was still seeing this figure. So after doctors and counseling and many other options the family decided its time for a new approach. That's where we come in.

..We went to the home and got set up all through the home but we concentrated on the girl’s room. We set up cameras and voice recorders and started the investigation. We asked questions tried provoking. I mean we really tried our best to solve this case and help this family. After a long night we went on our way and I have to say we where disappointed nothing happened. Well we went home and got started on the evidence review and we didn't get any EVP and no EMF spikes... Nothing. But then I started going over the still pics and there it was the dark shadow as plain as day coming out of the closet. “It just blew me away.”

..Look at this pic and was at a loss of what to tell the family, so I contacted TAPS. Their advice was to keep this from the girl because she has enough to deal with just being a teen so we took their advice and kept it from her but we did go to do the reveal and as I walked up to the house the girl came over to me and pointed to my arm I had a tank top on and said that's the thing in my closet. Well I have a reaper on my arm and this was just crazy because the photo we have looks just like the reaper. But I keep calm and told her that it was ok and there's nothing to worry about because we had a Father from a local church with us and he is going to do a blessing of the home and make the bad go away. The last we heard the girl is in a new room and is doing great.

..We were contacted about coming to do an investigation at the R&R Station, located in Mount Pleasant, PA. right before Halloween. From what we heard about the place we jumped at the chance to go. So we headed out to the old railroad station and sat down with Sherry the owner and her husband. We all sat and had a great dinner and I must say the food is good. The owners started to tell us about all the ghosts that live at the now hotel restaurant and from what they told me there where more ghost then guest most of the time.

..She continued to tell us about the young girl that died from tuberculosis in one of the rooms on the third floor. She is seen walking around up there and has been spotted by many of the guests that have stayed there over the years. She also told us about a Victorian lady that walks the second floor late at night after all the guests are asleep. She is said to go from door to door knocking on each door waking the guests up but when they would go to the door there was no one there just a empty hallway.

..Well after hearing all the claims we set a date to come back and try and capture this all on film. We arrived at the R&R around nine o'clock the night of the investigation and started to get all the cameras set up and get the investigation going, we split into two groups and started out to find the answers we were looking for like…. Is this place haunted? The first night we were there we did experience a lot of shadows and voices that just came from no where, we also had a lot of noises happen like banging, footsteps and doors closing all by themselves and we no there where no guest because the place shut down for us to be there all in all it seemed to be a slow night so we hit the sheets for the night. We all stayed there for the weekend.

..As we slept one of the team said there was a woman in his room but could not make out who she was, then he said she vanished. The next morning we all went out to just rest up and get away and also get ready for the next night at the hotel. We all got back there around seven o'clock to find that a woman that stays there and rents a room, (room 18) had died during the night. Everyone just thought she was out because we where there, talking about a shocker but the show must go on.

..So after the coroner removed the poor woman we got right back to the job at hand but of course we could not go in that room to much but one on the team did get a strange photo from that area. I started to do some evp work in the Casey Jones room, I had my voice recorder sitting on my leg and started to ask questions when all of the sudden the recorder started to spin around I thought I was going crazy so I would move it to another part of my leg and after a minute or two it would start to spin again, after about 15 minutes I went and got another team member to come in the room and do some evp work, I told her to just sit and place the recorder on her leg and start so she started to ask questions and just like before the recorder started to spin it would go real slow to the point you could feel the drag on your clothes, this was just a crazy thing to have happen.

..To this day I have to question that it happened it was just that strange. After leaving this room we headed to the third floor to check it out. My son Matt and wife Jackie where there as well as the owner sherry, we went into the therapy room and started to film with Sony high 8 camera and as we where asking some questions in this room where a man was stabbed to death in the bathroom doorway we captured a shadow go across the room and we did get this on film, we stayed there for awhile and decided its getting late and it was time to rape it up for the night, so we thanked the owners and packed it all up and headed home to start the long process of going over all of the evidence.

..We where able to catch some good photos from the R&R station like the girl from the third floor and some other images from there, we went back to do the reveal to find we where the guest of honor and did a conference for all the guest and did the reveal for all the guest, I must say it was a great investigation with great people and all I can say is look at the photos and make your own decision on if its haunted or not I'd say there are a lot of strange things going on there. If you get a chance stop in there and see for yourself, I'll just keep my thoughts to my self. OFF TO THE NEXT GREAT ADVENTURE.

..After reading all kinds of stories about Demon House, {OFFICIAL SITE LINK}like all the bodies dug up from the basement because the mansion was build on top of a old grave yard, and the also the story about three men going into the mansion never to be heard from again and many others, we decided to call the owner of the mansion to see if we could come and investigate the old mansion. Well, the owner, Bill said no problem come on and check the place out. So we all headed out to demon house about a week later and met with some of the staff there, they started telling us all about the things that they have seen and heard and showed us around the property.

..They took me out back where there are two graves, I thought they were props but they said no these are the graves of the old owners of the place. After all the tore we started the setup, we ran night vision all over this place because we wanted to see if any of the stories are true or just a way to make demon house look haunted. So we took great care in covering all angles of the place, at this time it was about midnight and we started out investigating, I went to the second floor and started to run evp work and after a half an hour of being nice and getting no where I started to get a little mad, I thought here we go another joke and a waist of time, so I started provoking, calling what ever was there name and making fun of it and at one point I even challenged the spirits that might be there,

..After about 10 minutes I started to hear footsteps so I went to look around, there was no one around, so I went back to the maze and started again, once again I got the footsteps so I said stop playing and show yourself you coward and at this point the steps started to come at me, I could feel the floor vibrate from the steps, they got faster and coming right at me but I could not see anyone, all I could do is prepare to be hit but as it got to me all I felt was a cold breeze go right past me then just that fast there where know more steps.

..So we all got back together downstairs to talk about what we where experiencing, as we where talking we were hearing furniture being moved upstairs, so I ran back up there to see what was going on and there was nothing moved. I checked every room and closet to make sure it was not a joke and there was no one up there. As I was looking around I heard a heavy dragging noise coming from the attic so I went up the ladder and once again there was no one around. I headed back down to check the tapes because I had cameras everywhere, we could see nothing moving but could hear it on the tape, we thought maybe a speaker or something but could not find anything.

..Well after along night Bill the owner can back and we told him what we had experienced upstairs, at this point he told us about a young Lady Carla that hung herself in the attic... this might explain the noises we kept hearing coming from the attic. Bill told us there is a black shadow that roams the mansion and he doesn't like to be there alone day or night. At the end of the night we started to pack up and I took some photos in the living room area where there is a casket we where messing with and a black shadow showed up beside it. We decided that demon house is not just a Halloween prank, there are real ghost walking the grounds of the old mansion.

..The BOOK: The book will be called "Hauntings of Pittsburgh and the Laurel Highlands" by Don Wagner with Marcie Mcguinness. The book publisher is Shore Publications. The book will consist of a lot of cases and experiences that I have had in the field. Also, there will be cases from the Laurel Highland like Titlow Tavern stone house benders pit stop, 13 bends, some private homes, Restland Cemetery, the DAR Mansion, R&R Station and many more. I'm still working on the stories at this time. The book will also have many photos that I have captured over the years The photos are interesting but we in know way say they are ghost.i wish we could but for now we just have to let the public make up there own minds. We hope to one day we capture a ghost on film and we are developing new equipment every day to try and do that but its a work in progress. The book will be released mid September.

..The TELEVISION SHOW: The show will be called Paranormal Quests. It will be about all the work all the teams are doing in the field of paranormal research and the equipment they use and let them share the evidence they have gathered from the cases. We will begin work on the show around the end of April. First show will be announced 3 weeks before it will aired. The TV show will be on pctv channel 21. We do not have a date as of yet but we will announce that information ASAP.

..Our first guest will be more from asylumcam.com. We will be asking teams to write in and talk to us about setting them up to be on the show. We hope to have Tara and Joe from Visions magazine on the show also when they have time. The show is to let teams big and small showcase the hard work they are doing in the paranormal field and share their experiences and evidence with the public. In this way we hope to get the word out about all the work being done in this field and hopefully stop all the critics from making a big deal about things that they have no idea what they are talking about. We would like to see them stop fighting. Instead put all of the hard work and time into the research and put more effort into helping. This show be for the good of the paranormal field.
