EXCLUSIVE TRUE
EXPERIENCE REPORT
the SUPERNATURAL
By Robert
Wolfshead,
Occultist, Writer and Dark
Artist
..Now
a lot of people ask me about my supernatural or paranormal experiences,
being the public figure that I am despite having been witch, researcher,
occultist,and problem
solver for all things unusual with 20 years of experience. I by no
means have the key to all aspects of the realm that lies beyond, it
would be sheer arrogance for me to claim otherwise, but I would like
to share some of my thoughts, opinions and experiences with you, as
I feel this is a field that deserves far more attention than it has
been given! ..My
first paranormal experience with an entity or energy force, whatever
you will, was as an infant. I grew up in an a large English Farmhouse
that was built in the early C17th century (Approx
1605 / 1610). A family story is that many times my mother woke
up in the night to hear a baby crying, she of course immediately thought
it was me, following the soundfollowing
the sound of the noise she found it was actually 3
rooms away from where I was peacefully sleeping in
my cot and also
she saw what many people now term as Orbs floating around me! This
story provoked a deep interest in the paranormal, which I pursued
over the
years.
..As the head of a South
West England (UK) Paranormal Investigation Group for over 8 years, it often fell to myself and my team to prove or disprove
the evidence of entities; energies etc in peoples own homes, as well
as numerous other sites of interest. My role as a medium and witch was
an important aspect in my work, upon investigation of a new case many
factors have to be examined.
..Now lets us say for example that the owner’s residence has been
plagued with cold spots and strange light patterns on one wall in particular.
The immediate question is of course why? Is this something or merely
explainable through natural causes? These events lead to the owners being
convinced that there was the presence of a malignant spirit. When entering
the building I was asked to examine the entire house, especially the
upper floor hallway where the majority of events centralised according
to the statements of the distressed family.
..The cold spots and strange patterns of light, similar to that of a
distorted face, were in evidence, though during the space of the conversation
all
events seemed to come and go at random. Within the space of a few minutes
of careful examination I was able to offer an explanation. It was actually
quite a simple process, the cold spots where a result of poorly fitting
windows that drew in a draft to a particular point due in part to the
construction and atmospherics of the house. The dancing lights that had
been the greatest concern to the family, where soon solved with the closing
of one door, illustrating that it was light refraction across two mirrors,
the distance that separated said mirrors and the room’s alignments
allowed light to travel over 50 feet creating the patterns and causing
a very disturbing image to “manifest” over the effected wall.
..With the
explanation given to the family another occupational hazard was shown,
whilst they
were greatly relieved, the disappointment of it
not being a genuine haunting was more than apparent. But this is
a simple fact of life, not a major occurrence and they had to confront
the problems
that they were facing in their own lives without a cushion or a
third party to blame all their woes on!
..To
address a very important and current issue regarding investigations.
I could talk to you about the failings of many supposed professional
devices for paranormal research etc, that are so easy to get hold
of for your usage, but please be aware many do not have the level
of precision
necessary to achieve accurate readings, they are at the end of
the day only a guide in most cases unless you have access to very
expensive equipment.
I have to say the one thing many forget is that the brain and logical
reasoning are your best weapons to proving or disproving an occurrence.
Technology may work very well or may give you a very false impression
of reality. I hardly need to mention the numerous cases of electromagnetic
fields caused by electrical equipment such as air conditioning
units two walls away from the point of reading that have been responsible
for
so many misdiagnosis of a situation, at the end of the day it takes
a process of logic to find the answer. Of course other factors
have to
also be taken into account. From jumping mice to floor boards naturally
contracting/ expanding, through to faulty water pipes and underground
springs.
..Now
it appears so far that I am taking a very
dismissive attitude to the paranormal field and the supernatural, however... nothing
is further from the truth. I have been witness to numerous events during my lifetime
that have no scientific explanation and no evidence to suggest they were
anything but genuine.
..For
example, I have personally witnessed activity that includes
levitation of objects, destruction of objects and yes I do mean plates
etc being
thrown across the room and smashed to smithereens, I have seen wallpaper
mutilated by an unseen force. Now what I have found to be the key is
first to observe then act after you have fully processed all of the information!
Who was in the third room, is their a chance of another person interfering
with the situation, natural events (trains,
earthquakes) etc. Once you
have looked at all of this you can go from there.
..I know that most of what I have written seems so logically based coming
from a self professed Occultist and Solver of all things mystical. So
let me take a moment to explain myself roughly 2 in 20 events I am called
in on now are of a mystical nature, that means there are 18 that can
be easily explained! Yes of course at the risk of sounding like a crank
here someone like myself who has these abilities will feel different
things from others, enabling me to have an edge when examining cases,
it is just how the world works!
..I remember
several cases that I investigated that really were in my personal
opinion a genuine haunting, we had all the evidence before
our very eyes
as well as testimonies from many witness. These were really
severe occurrences, several of them involving previous exorcism
attempts
which only seemed
to accentuate the problem. But why would an exorcism make the
situation worse of course is the obvious question? Now I will
give the answer
that I have found to be true both by my own experiences and
those of many
others, if the entity is not of the particular religious persuasion
that the person that is performing the rite shares, surely
conflict will arise
and stir the proverbial hornet’s nest. Personally I look
at every case in all aspects both of this world and the other
side due
to my gifts
and abilities.
To illustrate this one example of a case that I was involved
in, in a small town in Dorset England, centred around one C17th
dwelling.
Now
the house had been known as being “haunted” for
over 200 years.
..The history
was that a man had hung himself within the building, after committing
many criminal deeds, ranging from robbery to murder;
the crimes were recorded but never attributed to any person. It seems
from the crude press of the time and local spoken records that he
gained a conscience over his deeds and thought that ending his life
was the
best course of action. The elderly couple that purchased the property
where plagued by a presence, plates where smashed, furniture was
destroyed, wall paper was scored. So they first contacted a priest
from the dioceses
who blessed the house and attempted to remove the spirit, this failed
miserably.
..It
actually seemed to increase the occurrences and making
them more violent. In desperation they then contacted one of the
remaining few Church of England Bishops that is still authorised
to perform exorcisms.
After a lengthy discussion with the couple he agreed to perform
the rite, he journeyed down complete with holy water,
bell, book and candle
and
performed the banishment.
..All
was quiet for two weeks and then the occurrences returned with
greatly added furyiosity, not only was the damage to the home and
its effects
continuing once more, the owners then became personally subjected
to a series of attacks almost nightly, ranging from welts and bruises
through
to deep scratches on their skin drawing blood. In desperation they
where compelled to look outside their own religious beliefs for
the
solution
to their problem. It was of course hard for them to come to that
decision, being staunch Christians, but they could see no other
way for life to
return to normal. Myself and a group of other practitioners of
Witchcraft were called upon to help.
..The
procedure was actually very simple,
the entity was lost and confused and merely wanted release. Within
a few
short minutes we learned his name, and his reason for remaining
in this world. His guilt over his crimes seemed to compel him
to remain
in that
house. But once we assured him that he was not chained to the
scene of his crimes and there was a place for him to
go to and to find
peace,
he departed immediately!
. .So
despite all of the efforts of the Christian church all that had
happened was misery and pain for both the living and the dead. I
personally have
an extreme distrust
for exorcisms; I have been involved in numerous
cases where the wellminded ideas and idiotic behaviour of the
individuals has
resulted in far more pain for all parties to do with the case!
..I am
not here necessarily to make people question their faith,
I have my own and that is how I work, the only thing that I can say
is having
lived in France for a while now there are many dual standards
with the Christian faith. You only have to peruse the photographs
that
I have
taken and you will see the extent of the disrespect that some
people have for the dead, mutilated and broken gravestones are common
place
in this country. For my own opinions I am not comfortable with
the fact that this can and does happen let alone the fact that, many
graves are
dug up, the remains are cremated and the gravestones are pulverised
and turned into hard standing for pavements or building material
!!!
..This
in my professional and personal experience brings a whole host
of otherworldly trouble! Having only lived in this country
for just
over a year I have
so far been called upon over fifty times to deal with genuine occurrences,
of course I have also attended many that weren’t, as we all
do that are involved in this type of work, but the treatment of
those that
are no longer with us seems to be a huge contributory factor within
this field and raises the odds of an occurrence hugely, individual
histories
aside!
..There
are a few questions that I would raise for all of you that have
an interest in the supernatural and spirits; do you actually
stop to
consider there may be a human character behind most of these events
that you have investigated? It is all very well and good to have
the evidence
that you have gathered, but what happens when you leave the investigation
site? If you have indeed proven the existence of life after death
by your findings, do you just leave it there and let that entity
stay forever
unhappy, vengeful or confused? Or do you just see it as some form
of tape recording that is being forever replayed? For me myself
I have seen
too much to say that in many instances that I have witnessed that,
there is not actually an intelligence and emotion behind these
events, these
are conscious beings or spirits of some form!
..That
aside I welcome the huge uprising of interest in the paranormal but
all I ask is that anyone who
approaches this field, have a conscience
and treat things with respect. Many of the concepts and practices
that I mention within this article are covered in greater depth within
my forthcoming publication “Grimoire
Noir”, on Black magic and its use though history
to modern times. It is I hope a publication that will set a landmark
in the
field of witchcraft.
For myself... personally gone are the days of the misconceptions
that led to the collaboration of A E Crowley and Gerald Gardener
that
that produced
a neo pagan Christian hybrid religion, it is time to look at the
unseen realm with older and wiser perspectives that are shown through
genuine
and original texts!
